Johanna Vaude est une artiste et cinéaste, diplômée en Arts plastiques et cinéma multimédia[DEA / Master 2, Université Paris 1
Panthéon/Sorbonne].
Elle utilise les techniques du cinéma expérimental, de l'art vidéo et numérique, pour réaliser des films aux univers singuliers. L'hybridation plastique (mélange de peinture sur pellicule, photo, graphisme, animation, images de synthèses...), lui offre toute liberté pour traduire voyages et expériences sensorielles. Ses films sont projetés en Europe, en Asie et en Amérique du Nord et des rétrospectives lui sont consacrés à la Cinémathèque Française, le Festival Côté Court de Pantin,Pesaro Film Festival en Italie, MK2 Beaubourg,Traverse Vidéo à la Cinémathèque de Toulouse, Festival des Cinémas Différents de Paris, ffAT festival at Muffatwerk, die Dresdener Scmalfilmtage en Allemagne...
En 2005, le magazine Court-Circuit réalise un portrait de
l’artiste pour la chaîne ARTE

En 2007, un DVD monographique « Hybride » paraît avec le soutien financier du CNCaux éditions Lowave .
En 2008, un extrait silencieux du film L'oeil sauvage fait partie de l'installation TH.2058créée par Dominqiue Gonzalez-Foerster et présentée à la Tate Modern de Londres.
Passionnée par toutes les formes d’expressions artistiques, pratiquant elle-même la musique, le dessin, la photo, la poésie, Johanna Vaude ouvre maintenant de nouvelles voies à ses créations, notamment en collaboration avec des artistes provenant d’univers différents ou en honorant des commandes...
Johanna Vaude is a french artist and film-maker graduated in visual arts and in film studies [DEA / Master 2, Paris 1 Panthéon/Sorbonne University].
Her films are between experimental cinema, video art, fiction, imagination and dream perceptions. She mixed different techincal types as hand painting film, photos, videos, digital, 3D and graphic animation. Plastic hybridization gives her complete liberty of expression to translate sensory trips and new experiences.
Her creations are widely recognized and her films are shown in Europe, Asia, North America. Retrospectives were organized at the Cinémathèque Française (French Film Archives in Paris), the Pantin Short Film Festival, the Pesaro Film Festival (Italy), MK2 Beaubourg, Traverse vidéo at the French Film Archives in Toulouse, Festival des Cinémas Différents,ffAT Festival at Muffatwerk, die Dresdener Schmalfimtage in Germany, etc...
In 2005, the Court-Circuit magazine, a production of ARTE, the French-German TV channel, realises a portrait of the artist (Program : Luc Lagier / director : Gilles Perru).
In 2008, an excerpt of the film L'oeil sauvage is integreted into TH.2058, an installation created by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster for the Tate Mondern of London.
